Nintendo NX Set to Premier March 2017

You have to spend a considerable amount of time narrowing down your choice of upright arcade games for sale, but Nintendo is banking on the fact that you won’t think too hard when the new NX console is released – you’ll just buy it.

Nintendo’s NX is slated to premier in March of 2017, and the rumors are already flying. Even though Nintendo has tried hard to keep the design a secret, it seems like they are following through with their promise to introduce advanced technology to households across the world.

Nintendo Is Introducing a “Brand New Concept”

Nintendo has been promising a “brand new concept” since the first announcement about the upcoming console and so far the NX may be just that. The Nintendo NX is rumored to be a handheld console that can also attach to your TV when connected to a docking station. There will also be detachable controllers that allow you to use the NX as your main home gaming console. The NX could be the only device you need for solo entertainment and group fun.

The changes don’t stop there. Instead of following suit and using discs like Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One, the Nintendo NX is going to revert to cartridges. This will make it possible for the NX to stay portable – you can’t very well carry around a full-size disc changer. Of course, none of these features have been officially verified by Nintendo as of yet, but with the release month within the next year, the unveiling should take place sooner rather than later.

The Game Roster is Slowly Being Confirmed

The Nintendo NX’s new features are exciting, but so are the games that are in development for the console. So far, Dragon Quest X, Dragon Quest XI: In Search of the Departed Time, Just Dance 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Project Sonic have all been officially announced for the NX.

Unofficially, there are many other titles believed to be coming to the NX as well. For instance, it would make sense for Nintendo to capitalize on the success of Pokémon Go and create another Pokémon game for the newest console. It’s also rumored that Nintendo plans to build another Super Mario Bros. game just for their new console.

Are you excited to see what Nintendo produces next? You’re not alone – many other gaming fanatics are looking forward to March as well.
